Pad Thai

ISO 200 50mm f1.8 1/100 sec

I like to eat. But I oppose to eat in high end restaurant. Why paid the top $$ for the declaration and the chef? I enjoy to take food pic more than building and people.

If you want to know if this thai restaurant is good or not, try their Pad Thai dish.

Freezing

ISO 100 50mm f1.4 1/100 sec

I had a hard time to capture the water drop from the ice cube. I tried to set the TV mode and fried up the high speed shooting mode, no success. Then I realized someone mentioned in the badminton forum to use the single shot mode instead can capture the fast shuttle motion. I then turned on the one shot mode but still can't capture it. After 30+ shots, my hand was freezing and I felt it doesn't belong to me. I can't click on the shutter button no more. I said to myself. Okay "5 more shoots and that's it for today". Luckily, I finally captured one (with a drop). I will post it tomorrow.

My work area

ISO100 50mm f5.6 1/40 sec

I couldn't remember how many times I saw this sign since I work here for almost 8 years. I started from 1999, I left for about 2 years and came back. Although I'm working at 195B now, but I walk to this block during my lunch break sometimes just to check the surrounding stores.

Outside of 195 B

ISO 100 25.1mm f5.6 -

My 2nd attempt to take this building. 1 st attempt failed as I didn't take the background wide enough, so I couldn't crop to fit. This photo combined with 28 photos. The output wasn't too good but I accept it. I probably use this method for any wider shoot for a while because I can't afford for 1k lens yet.

Beer - I missed you!

ISO 400 50mm f1.8 1/160 sec

I didn't have any chance to drink beer recently. It's okay. I don't addicted to it anyway. I actually like to drink it only when hang out with a group.

Long long time ago, I used to hang out with my badminton coach and fds in the bar after badminton training every Friday night. That was the time it hook me up to drink beer. Especially when your muscle is so sore and extremely hungry after 4 hours non-stop moving in the court. A glass of iced cold beer and buffalo wing will definitely bring you to different level. I missed those days :(
